Taking notes while watching a longform informational video or lecture video is a good thing, but some times referencing a note you’ve taken to a point in the video became rather time consuming. Adding the timestamp to your notes helps until you need to scrub through the video timeline to get to the specific point you are looking for. This application integrates a YouTube video and a note taking section that syncs with the video and each note has an associated timestamp. Project was inspired by Suchwinder Singh.
I spent time creating database queries and ensured that the correct information was being updated in the correct tables. Additionally, I added video playback integration and deployed the project onto Heroku.
